Rapid Recovery – This upgrade of Constant Recovery really helps to keep you alive while in combat and is just an all around good use of an ability point on any Fighter. Did I mention it only costs 1 Discipline?

Not only is it a Full Attack, meaning you will strike with both Fists or weapon, but it increases the damage by 20% and adds +3 Penetration. Penetrating Strike – This ability is amazing for 1 Discipline. This is one of the best ways we can increase our Crit Chance! This one isn’t necessary if you’re playing Turn-Based.ĭisciplined Strikes – This upgrade of Disciplined Barrage increases the likelihood that you will Crit by 25%, which helps to proc Swift Flurry in melee. Two Weapon Style – This passive reduces our Recovery Time when dual-wielding which we will be the entire game. You’ll want to use Warrior Stance when beginning combat, and switch to Cleaving Stance when an enemy is about to fall.Ĭonfident Aim – This passive also helps to convert Grazes to Hits, and is excellent for early game damage until you have better Accuracy. This really boosts the overall performance of the Build, especially when attacking with Fists earlier in the game.įighter Stances – These Stances become available at level 4 and you want to get them ASAP. Fighterĭisciplined Barrage – This ability increases our Perception, which helps with Accuracy, and converts 50% of Grazes to Hits. However, these ones will be needed for this Build to work effectively.

You are free to pick and choose which you want outside of these because everyone’s style of play is different and there is no perfect way. In this section we’re going to cover the “must have” Brawler Abilities for this Build. If you’re playing Turn-Based you’ll definitely want Heavy Armor to protect yourself as much as possible, since Recovery Time is less important in this game mode. However, if you chose another Subclass you can probably remain in Light Armor without issue. Because I chose Helwalker, I’d advise upgrading to Medium Armor as soon as you get this passive because you will be taking 30%+ increased damage quite regularly and you will need to mitigate some of it. Because Fighters have the passive ability Armored Grace, they can use Light Armor with almost no penalty. When it comes to Armor you want to use the lightest you can and try not to incur any more Recovery Time penalty than is needed. So make sure you have whatever weapon this is equipped in separate slots for these occasions. For example, Fists only deal Crush Damage, which means your choice of weapon should be something that does Slash or Pierce. Unarmed provides reliable damage and has high Attack Speed, but there are benefits to other weapon types as well. Brawler Weapons and ArmorĪs mentioned above we use both Unarmed for this Build, but you can add another Weapon type if you wish, since Devoted will get Unarmed + Weapon Type for their bonus. These two subclasses in combination deal some wicked damage. Swift Flurry used to work with any weapon (when this Build first came out), and Blunderbusses were a great option because they fired multiple projectiles, but now Dual Wielding is the way to go for this Build because it gives you the most attacks per attack as a Brawler. When combined with the Fighter's Cleaving Stance, we frequently proc this a few times when one enemy dies, usually killing another enemy, which just repeats the process. This is a very solid Multiclass that is highly recommended to anyone looking for consistent damage with decent survivability.įirst, we gain the ability to strike again whenever we crit with a weapon by using the Monk Ability Swift Flurry. This helps to compensate for the Monk's weaknesses and is an extremely lethal combination that frequently results in a large number of enemies downed in a matter of seconds. The Brawler class combines the Monk's lightning-fast attacks with the Fighter's combat prowess.įighters offer healing, weapon expertise, and the ability to wear Armor with a low Recovery Time penalty.
